Arantxa Galvan, Legal Administrative Intern
Arantxa Galvan’s experience and past work in writing and research endeavors heightened her desire to learn more about immigration law. As the child of two Peruvian immigrants, she has spent her high school career working towards greater inclusivity by spearheading projects such as a local English as a Second Language (ESL) program and her high school’s LatinX Affinity Group. Through her experience working for her high school’s Writing Center, as a student ambassador for her school’s Alumni and Development Office, and as a member of her high school’s Creative Writing Program, Arantxa also has a strong writing background. Using her knowledge from her previous involvements, Arantxa hopes to learn more about immigration in the United States and help the Lal Legal team to help others through her internship work period.
This summer, Arantxa has taken a great interest in curating news for the blog, enhancing our client and community relationships, and learning how to prepare basic legal forms and templates. Arantxa also assists with translation and interpretation projects.
